In this excerpt, we learn how Harriet Tubman behaved when someone refused to keep moving as they were escaping. In this example, we see that a man claims to be unable to move anymore. He is unable to rise and asks everyone else to continue without him. However, we learn that Tubman refuses to continue. She tells him that he has to move or she will kill him. This shows how Tubman would do anything to accomplish her goals.
