The Zhou Dynasty (1046-256 BCE) was the longest-lasting of China’s dynasties. It followed the Shang Dynasty (c. 1600-1046 BCE) and it finished when the army of the state of Qin captured the city of Chengzhou in 256 BCE. The long history of the Zhou Dynasty is normally divided in two different periods: Western Zhou (1046-771 BCE) and Eastern Zhou (770-256 BCE), so called following the move of the Zhou capital eastwards where it was safer from invasion.

The most influential minds in the Chinese intellectual tradition flourished under the Zhou, particularly towards the last period of the Zhou Dynasty, considered a time of intellectual and artistic awakening. Many of the ideas developed by figures like Laozi, Confucius, Mencius and Mozi, who all lived during the Eastern Zhou period, would shape the character of Chinese civilization up to the present day.

What is trading describe some of the ways that trading takes place
AVprozaik [17]

Trade is how countries cooperate with one another through the exchange of production. Trade helps all civilizations gain access to goods and services that are not produced domestically.

Nations can specialize in what has the advantage of production and import what they can not produce or produce inefficiently. In contrast, the nation can export the good it produces. This is how commerce works.

Trade negotiations take place through agreements between countries and through contracts between traders and buyers. These are ways to give security to both sides, ensuring a trade-prone environment.

A young child’s inability to experience or appreciate anyone else’s point of view is called ________.
kramer

A young child's inability to experience or appreciate anyone else's point of view is known as egocentrism as children have a typical tendency to relate everything that occurs to themselves.

The inability to distinguish between self and other is referred to as egocentrism. It is the inability to accurately assume or comprehend any perspective other than one's own.  Egocentrism can be found at any age: infancy, early childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.

Although egocentric behaviors are less common in adults, the presence of some forms of egocentrism in adults suggests that overcoming egocentrism may be a lifelong process that never ends. Adults appear to be less egocentric than children because they correct more quickly from an initially egocentric perspective than children, not because they are less likely to adopt an egocentric perspective in the first place.
