First factorise the top = -(w+6)
The first factorise the bottom: (w^2 + 4w -12) = (w+6) (w-2)
Therefore the two (w+6) cancels out and you are left with -1 / w-2

Answer: 8.5

Step-by-step explanation: 8.5 because 34 divided by 4 is 8.5. To find the unit rate, make 4 hours turn to 1 hour. To do that, divided 4 by 4. Do the same with the other number, which is 34. 34 divided 4 is equal to 8.5

The coordinates of the pre-image of point F' is (-2, 4)

How to determine the coordinates of the pre-image of point F'?

On the given graph, the location of point F' is given as:

F' = (4, -2)

The rule of reflection is given as

Reflection across line y = x

Mathematically, this is represented as

(x, y) = (y, x)

So, we have

F = (-2, 4)

Hence, the coordinates of the pre-image of point F' is (-2, 4)
