So you would change 4 4/5 to 4 8/10 and then do 4-2=2 and 8/10 - 1/10= 7/10 so the work is 2 7/10

How do you evaluate the function f(x)=x+6 when x = -2,0 & 5? (step by step please!)
blagie [28]

Answer:

f(-2) = 4

f(0) = 6

f(5) = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)=x+6 when x = -2

Substitute x=-2

f(-2) = -2+6

f(-2) = 4

f(x)=x+6 when x = 0

Substitute x=0

f(0) = 0+6

f(0) = 6

f(x)=x+6 when x = 5

Substitute x=5

f(5) = 5+6

f(5) = 11
