12 songs because if you look at the problem there is the word “of”. The word of means multiply, so if you make 16 into fraction that is 61/1 and multiply that my 34 the word problem is,16/1 x 3/4= 48/4 and 48 over 4 is equal to 12 and that is 12 songs.

Please help me with this problem <br> Evaluate (-½·3)³
-Dominant- [34]

Answer: -27/8

Step-by-step explanation:

\left(-\frac{1}{2}\cdot \:3\right)^3

\mathrm{Apply\:exponent\:rule}:\quad \left(-a\right)^n=-a^n,\:\quad \mathrm{if\:}n\mathrm{\:is\:odd}

\left(-\frac{1}{2}\cdot \:3\right)^3=-\left(\frac{1}{2}\cdot \:3\right)^3

=-\left(\frac{1}{2}\cdot \:3\right)^3

\mathrm{Apply\:exponent\:rule}:\quad \left(a\cdot \:b\right)^n=a^nb^n

\left(\frac{1}{2}\cdot \:3\right)^3=\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)^3\cdot \:3^3

=-\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)^3\cdot \:3^3

=-\frac{1}{8}\cdot \:3^3

=-\frac{1}{8}\cdot \:27

=-\frac{27}{8}

A charity sold 475 tickets to a dinner auction. If the charity raised $16,625 in ticket sales, what was the cost of one ticket?
Tanya [424]

Answer:

$35

Step-by-step explanation:

you have to divide the total money raised by the amount sold

16,625/475=35

each ticket was $35

and to make sure its correct you can always multiply the amount of 1 ticket to the amount sold

475*35=16,625
