A carbon atom has six electrons. How are these electrons shared in its atomic orbital shells?
stepladder [879]

The carbon atom has  2 electrons in its inner shell and 4 electrons in the outer shell.

Carbon is a chemical element  with atomic number 6,  and the symbol C. The word carbon comes from a Latin word carbo, which means coal.

Because of its willingness to form compounds more than any other element, it forms a larger number of compounds than any other element. It easily bonds with non-metallic elements and du to this, it is often termed as the building block of life.

Even though it forms many different compounds, relatively it is a non-reactive element

Describe the first interaction that triggers signaling to begin in a target cell
ivann1987 [24]

Answer:

Ligand-receptor interaction is the first interaction that triggers cell signalling.

Explanation:

Ligands are the hormones, drugs or neurotransmitters that specifically bind with receptors present in cell surface to initiate cell signalling. Ligand binding to the receptor is reversible. Binding of the ligand to the receptor can activate or inactivate receptor. Activation may lead to cell signalling pathways. Inside cells, there are secondary molecules which on activation starts a cascade of reactions. which in-turn regulate the function of the ligand molecule.

Best Choice:

Ligand-receptor interaction is the first interaction that triggers cell signalling.

How have the factors that trigger an asthma attack changed since the 1900s? As a researcher, how would you put together the clue
eduard

so if you look up things that can cause an asthma attack it will also show that viruses and bacteria are a cause. with asthma you lungs could already be inflamed as well as your air way wich makes it harder to breath. when you have c-19 it will inflame your lungs even more so it makes it even harder to breath given an asthma attack. more asthma attack now are probably caused by c-19 because it is all over the place and the percent of asthma attack by virus has dramatically increased.
