Healthy eating and good amount of physical activity results in  prevention of chronic diseases. Schools have to largely take care in ways that prevent children from becoming obese.

Explanation:

Most of a child' s life is spent in school premises and hence the schools have to take enough action in promoting health oriented schemes which would result in healthy way of life for kids. poor nutritious diet and physical inactivity in schools may result in chronic diseases like cardiac disease, cancer and stroke.

Federal programs have been undertaken which involves the government to open healthy eating schemes in schools and also make children aware of the results of healthy eating and importance of physical activity. Many schools may not pay importance to such health related programs due to the academic burden which is huge in schools, but it has to be overcome and children must be given enough knowledge regarding the need of developing a healthy life style.
