Two requirements are usually necessary for an organism to become fossilized: ______.
katrin2010 [14]

According to the given statement:

An organism must typically meet two conditions in order to become fossilized:

1) Organisms require hard parts like shells, teeth, cartilage, and bones.

(2) The organic material needs to be buried as soon as possible in a place that is oxygen-free and protected from scavengers.

Exactly who is a scavenger?

An organism known as a scavenger primarily consumes decaying biomass, such as animal or plant matter that has gone bad. A lot of scavengers are carnivores, which are creatures that consume meat.

What are four examples of scavengers?

Among the land scavengers are wolves, hyenas, jackals, and bears. Scavengers can be found in the air, including vultures, crows, ravens, and condors. In water, scavengers include lobsters, crabs, and several shark species.

What are the advantages of using the plastic snap together toy as a model for elements and compounds
Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

A snap together model makes sense to use because to form compounds, atoms bond to each other. A plastic snap together toy demonstrates the bonds with the snaps, but can be disconnected and rearranged to model the formation of different compounds through chemical reactions.

For her science fair project, your little sister replicated one of Mendel's experiments. From a P0 pea plant with purple flowers
Leona [35]

Answer: No, the 7:1 ratio is close to the expected 6:2 ratio even with the limited sample size.

Explanation:

Let the alleles be P (purple) and W (white).

The possible crosses are

PP x WW, PP x PW, PW x WW, PW x PW

the F1 is PP or PW

one F2 is white so the F1 must be PW and

the F2 are PP, WW, PW and

the expected 8 progeny are 2PP, 2WW, 4PW

Because 7/8 are purple, we can infer that P is dominant and W recessive, so the expectation is 6 purple, 2 white

The observed ratio is similar to the expected ratio, so we can’t say that this result disproves Mendel, particularly with a small sample.
