Tom,Scott and dawn sold cookies at the school fair.
aleksklad [387]
First of all work out how many tom and scott sold.
tom sold 60% of 90 cookies which is 54.
scott sold 2/3 of 150 cookies which is 100.
altogether the three of them sold 54+100+46 cookies which is 200.
Dawn sold 46 of these 200 cookies. To work out the percentage we have both the numbers to get 23 out of 100. We halved those numbers because a percentage is out of 100 we halved it to get it out of 100.
so 23 out of 100 is 23% so dawn sold 23%of the cookies.

Hope this helps :)

g natasha is in a class of 30 students that selects 4 leaders. How many ways are there to select the 4 leaders so that natasha i
Papessa [141]

Answer:

<h2>3,654 different ways.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

If there are 30 students in a class with natasha in the class and natasha is to select four leaders in the class of which she is already part of the selection, this means there are 3 more leaders needed to be selected among the remaining 29 students (natasha being an exception).

Using the combination formula since we are selecting and combination has to do with selection, If r object are to selected from n pool of objects, this can be done in nCr number of ways.

nCr = n!/(n-r)!r!

Sinca natasha is to select 3 more leaders from the remaining 29students, this can be done in 29C3 number of ways.

29C3 = 29!/(29-3)!3!

29C3 = 29!/(26!)!3!

29C3 = 29*28*27*26!/26!3*2

29C3 = 29*28*27/6

29C3 = 3,654 different ways.

This means that there are 3,654 different ways to select the 4 leaders so that natasha is one of the leaders

Please help!! Write in simplest radical form: √7/8 Show how you figured it out
12345 [234]

Given expression: \sqrt{\frac{7}{8}}.

\mathrm{Apply\:radical\:rule\:}\sqrt[n]{\frac{a}{b}}=\frac{\sqrt[n]{a}}{\sqrt[n]{b}}

=\frac{\sqrt{7}}{\sqrt{8}}

\sqrt{8}=\sqrt{2^2\cdot \:2}=2\sqrt{2}

\frac{\sqrt{7}}{\sqrt{8}} =\frac{\sqrt{7}}{2\sqrt{2}}

\mathrm{Rationalize\:}\frac{\sqrt{7}}{2\sqrt{2}}

\mathrm{Multiply\:by\:the\:conjugate}\:\frac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}}

=\frac{\sqrt{7}\sqrt{2}}{2\sqrt{2}\sqrt{2}}

=\frac{\sqrt{14}}{4}

=\frac{\sqrt{14}}{4}.

I have homework for tomorrow can someone help
Tema [17]

Answer:

x = 42 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

We see a cyclic quadrilateral, so by the cyclic quadrilateral theorem we notice that the angle marked with x degrees is equal to the angle marked with 42 degrees. Hence, x = 42 degrees.

Help me please !! Geometry
Hatshy [7]
Okay, so all the angles of the triangle will add up to 180

You know one side is 104 and the other two are equal to each other.

180-104= 76

76 is both of the angles together so divide it by two to get 38

X=38
