Select the correct answer. You reflect triangle PQR, with vertices P(-2, -4), Q(-3, -1), and R(-4, -4), across the y-axis to get

Since we have reflected only across the y-axis we know the x-values stay the same (but since they are changing quadrants will become positive) and the same goes for the y-values. Only the negative/positive area will change. Lets get to work:

<em>P(-2, -4) will become P'(2, -4)</em>

<em>Q(-3, -1) will become Q'(3, -1)</em>

<em>R(-4, -4) will become R'(4, -4)</em>

After doing this for a while you will be able to find the reflected coordinates without any trouble or graph.

<u>Key point</u><u>: Values stay the same</u>

ohaa [14]

Answer: The space given up by the students is 1/4 of the total space.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to analyze the information given:

  • Tanks: 1/10
  • Games: 4/10
  • Student exhibits: 5/10

<em> Students must give up half of the exhibit space to the other school.</em> So, we have to divide 5/10 by 2.

5/10 ÷ 2/1 = (5x1 ) / (10 x2 ) = 5 /20

Simplified (by 5) = 1 /4

The space given up by the students is 1/4 of the total space.

Find the percent cost of the total spent on each:
natta225 [31]

The right answer is 18%,61%,21%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Amount spent on equipment = $46

Amount spent on fees = $152

Transportation = $52

Total spent = Equipment + Fees + Transport

Total spent = 46+152+52 = $250

Percent spent on equipment = \frac{Amount\ spent\ on\ equipment}{Total\ spent}*100

Percent spent on equipment = \frac{46}{250}*100 = 18.4\%

Rounding off to nearest percent

Percent spent on equipment = 18%

Percent spent on fees = \frac{Amount\ of\ fees}{Total\ spent}*100

Percent spent on fees = \frac{152}{250}*100 = 60.8\%

Rounding off to nearest whole percent

Percent spent on fees = 61%

Percent spent on transportation = \frac{Amount\ spent\ on\ transportation}{Total\ spent}*100

Percent spent on transportation = \frac{52}{250}*100 = 20.8\%

Rounding off to nearest whole percent

Percent spent on transportation = 21%

The right answer is 18%,61%,21%

Answer:

The country's population decreased about 5.8 % during this time period.

Step-by-step explanation:

Population in 1990 = 164 million

Population in 2010 = 155 million

Determine the percent decrease

The formula used is: Percent\:Decrease=\frac{Initial\:Value-New\:Value}{New\:Value}\times 100

We have :

Initial Value = 164 million (164,000,000)

New Value = 155 million (155,000,000)

Finding percent decrease

Percent\:Decrease=\frac{Initial\:Value-New\:Value}{New\:Value}\times 100\\Percent\:Decrease=\frac{164,000,000-155,000,000}{155,000,000}\times 100\\Percent\:Decrease=\frac{9,000,000}{155,000,000}\times 100\\Percent\:Decrease=5.8\%

So, The country's population decreased about 5.8 % during this time period.
