Let's assume the three consecutive integers are x, x+1 and x+2.

So, sum of x, x+1 and x+2 can be written as x+x+1+x+2.

Twice the middle integer (x+1) will be 2*(x + 1).

Hence 3 more than 2(x+1) can be represent as 3 + 2(x+1).

Hence, we can set u the following equation as following:

x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 3 + 2(x + 1).

3x + 3 = 3 + 2x + 2

3x + 3 = 2x + 5 Combine the like terms.

3x + 3- 3 = 2x + 5 - 3 Subtract 3 from each sides.

3x = 2x + 2

3x - 2x = 2x + 2 - 2x Subtract 2x from each sides.

x = 2

So, the first integer is 2.

Second integer is 2+ 1 = 3 and

Third integer 2+2 = 4

So, the three consecutive integers are 2, 3 and 4.

A commercial package contains thirty-six 200-mg tablets of ibuprofen. How many kilograms of ibuprofen were
PIT_PIT [208]

Answer: 0.0072 kilogram

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The mass of one tablet of ibuprofen =200  mg

Then, the mass of 36 tablets of ibuprofen =36\times200  mg

i.e. the mass of 36 tablets of ibuprofen =7200  mg

We know that 1 kilogram = 1000 grams

and 1 gram = 1000 milligram

Then, 1 kilogram = 1000,000 milligrams

Then, \text{1 mg}=\dfrac{1}{1000,000}\text{ kg}

Now,  \text{7200 mg}=\dfrac{7200}{1000,000}=0.0072\text{ kg}

Hence, A commercial package contains 0.0072 kilogram of ibuprofen.

Records show that Oliver is typically 10–30 minutes late for his shift at work. The distribution for the minutes he is late form
Margarita [4]

Based on the information given, the percentage of time that'll be required to meet the policy will be 10%.

From the complete information, the probability distribution will be:

= 1/(b - a) = 1/(30 - 10) = 1/20

Since the company policy requires employees to be less than 12 minutes late for work, the percentage of the time that Oliver will meet company policy will be:

= (12 - 10) × 1/20

= 2 × 1/20

= 1/10

= 10%

In conclusion, the correct option is 10%.
