Wilson is a plumber, and his coworker Jonathan is an electrician. Wilson charges customers a fee of $126 just to come to their h

ouses and then $3 per minute that he is there. Jonathan also charges a fee of $151 for a home visit, plus an additional $2 per minute. Last week the coworkers went to a job site together, spent the same amount of time working, and earned the same amount. How much time did each one spend working? How much did each one earn?

Let's have time in minutes as x.

Now we will make the next equation

3x+126 = 2x+151  First we will add number (-126) to the both sides and get

3x+126-126=2x+151-126 => 3x= 2x + 25

3x=2x+25 Now we will add monom (-2x) to the both sides and get

3x-2x=2x-2x+25 => x=25 minutes

They spent the same time 25 minutes and earned the same amount of money

Wilson earned  3*25+126= 75+126= $201

Jonathan earned 2*25+151=50+151= $201

Good luck!!!

I ate twice as many apples as bananas and 3 times as many blueberries as bananas. If I
Vesna [10]

Answer:

Below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of bananas I ate be x.

Number of apples = 2x.

Number of blueberries = 3x.

So we have the equation:

x + 2x +3x = 12

6x = 12

x = 2.

So I ate 2 bananas, 4 apples and 6 blueberries.
