Let n be the sum of all 6 numbers:

In the 1st case n/6 = 41 ==> n =246

in the 2nd case n'/5 = 46===> n' =230, the unknown number is n-n' =246-230

= 16

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance traveled  using a gallon = 10 2/3 miles

Distance traveled using 5 1/2 gallons =

  = 10 \dfrac{2}{3}* 5\dfrac{1}{2}

  = \dfrac{32}{3}* \dfrac{11}{2}\\\\=  \dfrac{16}{3}* \dfrac{11}{1}\\\\= \dfrac{176}{3}\\\\= 58 \dfrac{2}{3} \ miles

Triangle PQR is transformed to triangle P′Q′R′. Triangle PQR has vertices P(4, −8), Q(0, 12), and R(−4, 0). Triangle P′Q′R′ has
Tom [10]

Part A:

The scale factor is 1/4, because you obtain the coordinates of points P', Q', R' by dividing the coordinates of P, Q and R respectively by 4.

Part B:

Reflecting about the y axis causes a sign swap in the x coordinate. So, the new point will be

P''(-1, -2),\quad Q''(0, 3),\quad R''(1, 0)

Part C:

The triangles are similar, but not congruent. When you transform PQR into P'Q'R', you get a scaled version of the original triangle. This means that the angles and the proportion between sizes will be the same, but the length are scaled by 1/4, and the area is consequentially scaled by 1/16.

Triangles P'Q'R' and P''Q''R'' are congruent, so they are both similar but not congruent to the original triangle.

Please explain the steps to me . i’m genuinely confused
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:See below

Step-by-step explanation:

These angles are equal. All that needs to be done is setting the equations as equal and solving for the variables. Once the variables are found, input them back into the equation to find the angles. Once the variables are put into both equations, the result should be equal.
