Answer: Yes, they did.

Explanation: In order to increase the number of people who viewed the coverage on the Concord City election, the media made effort to focus on issues pertaining to a specific society demographic.

Due to this, one party was favoured over the other by the media. A certain party was painted good to the appealing eyes of the public while the other was painted in a bad manner to displease the public.
