Well, the ability to be able to genetically modify offspring is a big topic. I, personally, do not agree with it because it could result in racism or judgement of how people design their kids, and no one knows the mental consequences it would have on the human race as a whole. Many philosophers say that both good and bad are needed to live a good life, so having the “perfect” child may make their life miserable. A positive impact on society would be that you could make sure that your child doesn’t have any genetic diseases, but at what price does that come at? Hitler wanted a perfect Germany, and if he was alive today, this could be how he could do it.
