How did the United States benefit from its victory in the War of 1812
gayaneshka [121]
Hey there!

Your question is:
How did the United States benefit from its victory in the War of 1812?

My answer to this question would be:

The War of 1812 basically gave the US its true independence. The "Treaty Of Ghent" healed the relationship between America and Britain and gave the Americans a great sense of pride. This high level of pride led to the Western expansion and the building of a very strong army. This helped America become the most powerful country in the world.

Hope this helped, and as always,
Stay Crazy!!! :D

What distinguished president eisenhower’s “modern republicanism” from his party’s policies in the past?
ra1l [238]
The Modern Republicanism was President Dwight's philosophy that sought to balance government intervention with individual freedom. His ideals were a response to more extreme Republicans whose argument was that Truman's Fair Deal and Roosevelt's New Deal should be whipped out. The reason being both of them had increased the government's spending.
Dwight's approach was moderate, as he tried to maintain some of the Truman's and Roosevelt ideals while allowing freedom of the individual and of the market.

What did Anti-Federalists fear would happen if the Constitution became law?
melisa1 [442]

The Anti-federalists fear that the new US Constitutional would result in a tyrannical federal (aka central government).

The Anti-federalists were concerned about the power of the federal government due to their experience as British subjects. One of the main reasons why the United States broke away from Britain was due to the powerful central government that implemented taxes without the consent of the colonists throughout the 1760's and 1770's.

The Anti-federalists feared that the new US Constitution gave the federal government too much power and did not give enough power to the state governments and people.
