Since you have not given any choices to choose from there are a multitude of lines that would qualify as parallel to this line.  To find a parallel line, any line that has the same slope as this line that is not the exact same line will be parallel.  To find the slope, use the formula y2-y1/x2-x1.

4-7/-3-1

that simplifies to

-3/-4

then simplifying to

3/4

so any line that has a slope of 3/4 that is not the exact same line will be parallel to this line.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Two lines are said to be parallel if their slopes are same.

Here we have two points given (1,7) and (-3,4 )

slope of a line when two points are given is solved by formula

\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} \\where ( x_1,y_1) and (x_2,y_2) are the points through which it passes

therefore slope is  \frac{4-7}{-3-1}

                               = \frac{3}{4}

therefore all the lines which has slope \frac{3}{4}  will be parallel to given line

A particle is moving along the curve y= 5sqrt(5x+4) . As the particle passes through the point (1,15), its x-coordinate increase
evablogger [386]
The question ask to find the rate of change of the distance from the paticle to the origin at this instant where as a particle is moving along the curve y = 5sqrt(5x+4) and base on my calculation, I came up with an answer of 254/sqrt(226).
