50= - 10t+80
We move all terms to the left:
50 - ( -10t+80) =0
Get rid of the parentheses
10t - 80+50=0
We add all the numbers together, and all the variables
10+ - 30=0
We move all the terms containing t to the left, all the other terms to the right
10t = 30
t = 30/10
t = 3

What is the slope of the line on the graph?<br> Enter your answer in the box.
Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

I think this is the answer you are looking for. (See below)

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given graph it is noticed that the line is passing through many points.

The coordinates of three given points are (1,5), (-1,-1), (-1,-7)

If a line passing through two points (x1 ,y1) and (x2, y2) , the slope of the lie is defined by, m= y2 - y1/x2 - x1

The line passing through two points (-1,1) and (1,5). So the slope of the line is, m= 5 - 1 / 1 minus -1

m=4/2

Therefore, the slope of the line is 2.

Pls if this is wrong, let me know in the comments. I'm not really good at this topic in math but I hope it helps you. Sorry if it is wrong. Have a good day. :)

Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

<h2>1.5</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given two points. Let the points be A and B

A ( 8 , -2 ) ------> ( x1 , y1 )

B ( 12 , 4 ) ------> ( x2 , y2 )

Now, let's find the slope of the given points:

slope \:  =  \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}

plug the values

=  \frac{4 - ( -2)}{12 - 8}

When there is a ( - ) in front of an expression in parentheses , change the sign of each term in the expression

=  \frac{4 + 2}{12 - 8}

Subtract the numbers

=  \frac{4  + 2}{4}

Add the numbers

=  \frac{6}{4}

Reduce the fraction with 2

=  \frac{3}{2}

= 1.5

Hope this helps..

Best regards!!

How to test a function graphically
drek231 [11]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Inspect the graph to see if any vertical line drawn would intersect the curve more than once. If there is any such line, the graph does not represent a function. If no vertical line can intersect the curve more than once, the graph does represent a function.

that is known as the vertical line test

horrorfan [7]
Total number of students who did a test was 24
Number of students who scored an A is 14
Number of students who scored a B is 10
Probability that when we randomly select a student, he/she will have an A is:
(Number of students that scored A)/(Total number of students)
=14/24
=7/12
Therefore our answer is 7/12
