You need 3 sets of 2nds. And then you would shade all of the squares except one.

Well you have to subtract -2 to both sides and it well look like Y= -2+13 and then y=x+4
They are usually made up of smaller and simpler figures so break them up into smaller shapes and find the separate areas and then add them all up together to get the whole total for the one. I hope that makes sense.
