B and D are both true statements. I'm not comfortable saying that either one is better than the other one.

An electric bulb draws a current of 0.8A from 250 V mains. The bulb is used on an average 8
mihalych1998 [28]
First, we must find the power consumed by the light bulb. This is given by:
Power = voltage * current
Power = 250 * 0.8
Power = 200 W = 0.2 kW

Now, we must calculate the number of hours that the bulb is used, as the price given to us is in Rs/kWh. This is:
8 hours per day * 30 days
= 240 hours

Total kWh = 0.2 * 240
Total kWh = 48 kWh

Bill = 3 * 48
Bill = 144 Rs

A solar eclipse occurs when the A solar eclipse occurs when the the moon's shadow touches Earth. moon passes into the Earth's sh
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

There will always be a shadow created by the sun shining on the moon.

When the earth is in this shadow the result is a solar eclipse,

If an observer on earth can see none of the sun then this is called a total eclipse of the sun, otherwise it will be a partial ecliplse of the sun.

Note: A solar eclipse can only occur during a "new" moon at which time the moon is not visible to an observer on earth because of the light of the sun.

An athlete executing a long jump leaves the ground at a 28.0º angle and travels 7.80 m. (A) What was the takeoff speed?
Naddika [18.5K]

Answer:

9.6 m/s

Explanation:

Angle of projection, θ = 28°

Horizontal distance, R = 7.8 m

Let the velocity of projection is given by u.

The formula used to find the velocity of projection is given by

R=\frac{u^{2}Sin2\theta }{g}

7.8=\frac{u^{2}Sin\left (2\times 28  \right ) }{9.8}

7.8=\frac{u^{2}\times 0.829}{9.8}

u = 9.6 m/s

Thus, the velocity of projection is 9.6 m/s.

I'm looking at the barometer in my lab as i type this question. it says the pressure is 0.905 atm. what is this pressure express
Tcecarenko [31]
1 atm is equivalent to 760 torr.

To express 0.905 atm in torr, all you have to do is cross multiplication as follows:
1 atm ................> 760 torr
0.905 atm .........> ?? torr
pressure = (0.905 * 760) / (1)
pressure = 687.8 torr
