Answer:

(x + 3)(x - 1)(x + 2)

Step-by-step explanation:

The fractions are:

\dfrac{x + 2}{x^{2} + 2x - 3} \text{ and } \dfrac{x - 7}{x^{2} + 5x + 6}

Factor each denominator

x^{2} + 2x - 3 = (x + 3)(x - 1)\\x^{2} + 5x + 6 = (x + 3)(x + 2)

We must find the least common multiple of the denominators.  We take the maximum power of each separate factor.

      Factors of first fraction = (x + 3) × (x - 1)

Factors of second fraction = (x + 3)             × (x + 2)

                                   LCM = (x + 3)(x - 1)(x + 2)

The lowest common denominator of the two fractions is (x + 3)(x - 1) (x + 2).

7) Use distributive property
3x(4x⁴ - 5x)=3x*4x⁴- 3x*5x = 12x⁵ - 15x²
8) When you open parenthesis with minus sigh in front of it, you need change sings of the terms on opposite. Then find like terms.
(5x⁴-3x³+6x)-(3x³+11x²-8x)= 5x⁴-3x³+6x -3x³-11x²+8x =5x⁴-6x³ - 11x²+14x
9)(x-2)(3x-4)=x*3x-4x-6x+8=3x²-10x+8
10) (x+6)²=(x+6)(x+6)=x²+6x+6x+36=x²+12x+36
For (x+6)², you can also use the formula of the perfect square
(a+b)²=a²+2ab+b²
For (x+6)² =x²+2*x*6 +6²=x²+12x+36

Can you answer this question as soon as possible.
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

The intensity of the first earthquake is 6.31 times the second one

Step-by-step explanation:

The given formulae is M=log(\frac{I}{S})

Here for both the earthquakes the value of S is same.

Let the Intensity of the first earthquake be I1 and the second be I2.

Given M1=7.5

M2=6.7

Now  M1=log(\frac{I1}{S})------1

M2=log(\frac{I2}{S})-----2

Now subtract 1 and 2 we get

M1-M2=log(\frac{I1}{I2})

I1/I2=10^{M1-M2}

I1=I2(10^{0.8}

I1=I2*6.31

Yakvenalex [24]
The volume of the sphere : ( r = 4.8 m )
V = 4/3 r³ π = 4/3 · ( 4.8 m )³ · 3.14 = 4/3 · 110.592 · 3.14 = 463.01 m³

What is the equation of a line with a slope of 4 and a y-intercept of 2?
Trava [24]

Answer:

y=4x+2 or f(x)=4x+2

Step-by-step explanation:

This is because the equation format for a line is y=mx+b, the slope is m and the y-intercept is b. So all you have to do is fill it out to get y=4x+2. Or the other way I listed the equation is right too. Hope this helps!
