Why does the moons gravitational pole influence tides more than the suns gravitational pool

Biology

The ocean tides on earth are caused by both the moon's gravity and the sun's gravity. In general, ocean tides are not generated by the overall strength of gravity, but instead by the differences in gravity from one spot to the next (the gravitational gradient). Even though the sun is much more massive and therefore has stronger overall gravity than the moon, the moon is closer to the earth so that its gravitational gradient is stronger than that of the sun. Because ocean tides are the effect of ocean water responding to a gravitational gradient, the moon plays a larger role in creating tides than does the sun. But the sun's gravitational gradient across the earth is significant and it does contribute to tides as well.

A patient with muscular dystrophy starts to receive stem cells that generate muscle tissue. Which is the best prediction of what
liq [111]
It will have little impact in the long run. Muscular dystrophy tends to interfere with the formation of muscular tissue, specifically it causes problems with the manufacturing of proteins necessary to maintain muscular tissue. This procedure would mean a temporary improvement in the subjects condition, but does not seem to provide a true permanent solution. Repetitive stem cell therapy may be able to slow down the conditions progression though.

2. Suggest two ways that reflex reactions help maintain homoeostasis in the human body.
Nata [24]
One reflex reaction to maintaining homeostasis in the body is shivering. In response to cold temperatures, the muscular system moves our muscles quickly to warm them up as a rapid, short term solution for homeostasis. Another example is the withdrawal reflex, which occurs as a response to pain. Pain receptors activated by the painful stimulus activate the motor neurons in the body, which in turn contract muscles to move parts of your body away from the pain.
