The question is incomplete. The complete question is as follows:

The unusual patterns on a silk moth’s wings are one of the most stunning examples of mimicry in the wild. Mimicry occurs when an organism develops a physical characteristic or behavior similar to a protective trait in another species. What do you think these moth wings mimic? Why do you think this kind of mimicry can protect the moth?

Answer:

The silk moth's mimic the physical characteristics such as changes in wings pattern that resemble another moth species that is dangerous or unpalatable to predators.

This unusual change in wings pattern provide camouflage to the silk moths and prevent predators. Predators get confuse because of the mimic spcies and consider them as toxic or untasty and won’t attack.

Explanation:

This is because dodder plant is a parasitic plants that survive and live on the host plants there by causing harm or destroying the host because it survive on the resources needed for the host survival. In which stage of the Calvin cycle does the plant cell produce energy for storage?
Ludmilka [50]
I believe the answer is the Regeneration stage.
A this stage of the Calvin Cycle, only one of the G3P molecules leaves the cycle and is sent to the cytoplasm to contribute to the formation of other compounds needed by the plant. Because the G3P exported from the chloroplast has three carbon atoms, it takes three "turns" of the Calvin cycle to fix enough net carbon to export one G3P. Each turn makes two G3Ps, therefore three turns make six G3Ps.

Answer:

Well the model above is showing all the planets in order from how close or far away they are from the sun and it also seems to show the scale of each planet compared to another.

Explanation:

As for the Evidence or why it is important to know this is because the scale and location of the planet to the sun directly effects everything about the planet, its Atmosphere, tempterue and rotaion. And the more we learn about all plants we can better underatand our own geological past behavior of its Atmostohere and futute clamatic trends.

Why are polygenic diseases less suited to gene therapy?
Nadya [2.5K]

Answer:

Polygenic therapies are more likely to show unintended effects in other regions of the genome likely resulting in harmful diseases.

Explanation:

Gene therapy involves biotechnological techniques that add or remove gene sequences in the genome. These are typically used in eliminating harmful genes that cause genetic diseases or disorders and are generally thought to improve an individual's quality of life.

Polygenic traits are controlled by several genes. Similarly, polygenic diseases may be caused by variations in several gene sequences. These include hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes. Polygenic therapies are more likely to show unintended effects in other regions of the genome, leading to other deleterious disease-causing effects.
