Step-by-step explanation:

let x is total hours of carpenter and y is total hours of blacksmith

total hours --

x + y = 30 - equation 1

total earnings -

20x +25y = 690 - equation 2

from equation 1 ,

x = 30 - y

20(30-y) +25y =690

600 - 20y +25y =690

5y =90

y=18

x=30-18 =12

carpenter= 12 blacksmith=18

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THSI MATH PROBLEM!!!
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

23

Step-by-step explanation:

area of a trapezoid = 1/2 × (a + b) × h

so, we have

96 = 1/2 × ((4x - 1) + (x + 3)) × 6 = (5x + 2) × 3

32 = 5x + 2

30 = 5x

x = 6

a = 4x - 1 = 4×6 - 1 = 24 - 1 = 23

Answer:

 R = 5500t

Step-by-step explanation:

The estimated monthly revenue is said to be 5500 per month. Then for t months, the revenue R will be ...

 R = 5500t

_____

Additional comment

We expect costs to be C = 3200t, so profit is ...

 P = R -C

 P = 5500t -3200t

 P = 2300t

At that rate, it will be 50 months before enough profit is earned to pay for the initial cost of the store.

They have 23$ and 1$ is needed for when they get in the car. That leaves 22$. It’s 2$ per kilometer so 22/2 is 11.
