HIV is transmitted through bodily fluids so if they cut the previous customer with an instrument in which they didn't clean and then cut you with the same instrument, if the previous customer had HIV you would now have it as well.

The odds are very slim since Aids is transmitted by body fluids. So unless you have a cut or you get cut and the blood is fresh on the scissors than your chances of contacting aids that way is very slim.
