Answer:

Kindly go through the Explanation.

Explanation:

While responding back Tech Performance who would be referred as a defendant in this occasion may opt for two of the response:

1. Tech Performance to file an answer & defend

The answer filed should include admit of statements and the allegations put across by Uno IT or to simply deny them & set defenses from the defendants part. As by any chance if defendant admits to the allegations filed by UNO computer systems, the judgment will surely be in favor of UNO computer systems. But if defendant denies the allegations then the matter would proceed further as per the guidelines of the federal court, which will give enough time to Tech performance to be prepared with their set of defense statement.

Hence While filing the answers the defendant may file an affirmative defense according to which the defendant will agree to the truth of the complaint but would raise new facts in order to confront that the defendant firm should not be held responsible/ liable for the damage sustained by UNO. The defendant could also deny Uno IT’s allegations and assert a counterclaim stating and proving that the reason of the crash occurred causing loss was due to certain actions from UNO It’s end. Also it may also allege Uno IT for the damage done to the reputation of the Tech Performance.

2. Tech Performance to file a motion to dismiss instead of an answer

The defendant may file a motion to dismiss stating that the motion might contend that even if the facts presented in the complaint are true, their legal consequences such as there is no reason to go ahead with the suit. Other section for this motion includes improper service of process and the court’s lack of jurisdiction. In this case of filing a motion, if the motion is denied the defendant will be given time to file an answer and if its granted, Uno IT will be given time to file an amended complaint.

Answer:

Explanation:

As the question was missing data, I have done a quick google search and found the question which I am uploading it here as an image.

DATA:

Last Year:

      Labor Input = $30,100

      Raw Materials Input = $35,100

      Energy Input = $5010

      Capital Input = $50,010

      Other Input = $2010

      Sales Output = $200,100

This Year:

      Labor Input = $40,100

      Raw Materials Input = $45,100

      Energy Input = $6050

      Capital Input = $49,750

      Other Input = $2875

      Sales Output = $202,100

FORMULA:

Productivity = Output / Input

CALCULATION:

Total Input of Last Year =

                             $ (30,100 + 35,100 + 5010 + 50,010 + 2010) = $122,230

Total Input of This Year =

                             $ (40,100 + 45,100 + 6050 + 49,750 + 2875) = $143,875

TOTAL PRODUCTIVITY:

                                               Last Year This Year

Output in ($) $200100 $202100

Input in ($) $122230 $143875

Total Productivity 200100 / 122230 = 1.64 202100 / 143875 = 1.40

PARTIAL PRODUCTIVITY:

Last Year:

Partial Productivity Labor = 200100 / 30100 = 6.65

Partial Productivity Capital = 200100 / 50010 = 4.00

Partial Productivity Raw Materials = 200100 / 35100 = 5.70

This Year:

Partial Productivity Labor = 202100 / 40100 = 5.04

Partial Productivity Capital = 202100 / 49750 = 4.06

Partial Productivity Raw Materials = 202100 / 45100 = 4.48

dezoksy [38]

Answer:

$4,265.55

Explanation:

Future value = $120,000

Interest rate (i) = 5%

Annual deposit = ?

Time period (n) = 18 year

Since deposit are to be made at the beginning of each year, hence the relevant factor table to be used is future value annuity due factor table.

Future value = Annual deposit x future value annuity due factor (i%, n)

120,000 = Annual deposit x FVADF (5%, 18period)

120,000 = Annual deposit x 28.13238

Annual deposit = 120,000/28.13238

=$4,265.547

=$4,265.55

Which of the following is a type of intellectual property?
GuDViN [60]
C: software

in most countries, there are four primary types of intellectual property (IP) that can be legally protected: patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

Copyrights do not protect ideas, but rather the manner in which ideas are expressed (“original works of authorship”) - written works, art, music, architectural drawings, or even programming code for software
