As I look upon the square,
I ponder on what I see there.
It has four sides of equal length,
but that cannot be its only strength?
The area is easy to find,
Just square one side and use your mind.
The triangle is more complex.
Knowing the difference kinds will help you in your projects.
Each side adds up to 180 degrees,
Whether it's acute, right, obtuse, scalene or even an isosceles.
These two shapes are only the beginning,
I'll learn even more and keep on winning!

Round 56,291.8 to the nearest thousand.
NeTakaya

Answer:

56,000.0

Step-by-step explanation:

The number 6 is in the nearest thousand. To round, you look at the number in front of the number you are trying to round and decide if that number is higher or lower than five. If the number is higher than 5, round up to the next highest number. If the number is lower than 5, the number stays the same.

Sergeu [11.5K]

Answer:

9C=5(F-32)

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation which can convert the temperature from degree Celsius into degree Fahrenheit is given as under

9C=5(F-32)

We can solve it further for F as

9C=5F-5 \times 32

9C=5F-160

9C+160=5F

Dividing both sides by 5 we get

\frac{9C}{5}+32=F

F=\frac{9C}{5}+32

Now substituting values of C in this equation will give us the corresponding values of F

Ex : C=1

F=\frac{ 9\times 1}{5}+32

F=\frac{ 9+160}{5}

F=\frac{ 169}{5}

Hence 1 degree Celsius is \frac{ 169}{5} degree Fahrenheit

Can someone please help me with this :(
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer:

first find the surface area of one of the square and one of the triangle.

then multiple it by the number of square and triangle they have

finally add the total surface area of the triangle with the total surface area of the square.

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. for one square

area= base * width

= 10*10

=100

total area of square= number of square * area of one square

t=6*100

t=600

  • for one triangle

area = 1/2 base * height

= 1/2 *10*8.66

=43.3

total area of triangle=number of triangle* area of one triangle

t2=8*43.3

=346.4

total surface area= total surface area of the square+ total surface area of the triangle

=600+346.4

=946.4 in^2
