Explain why the daughter cells of meiosis are genetically different from each other but the daughter cells produced by mitosis are not.

The daughter cells produced by meiosis are genetically different from each other as they have different gene combinations as a result of crossing over (crossing over being the transfer of genes), Not only that but the random segregation of homologous chromosomes into different cells, whereas the daughter cells produced by mitosis are genetically identical as no recombination or crossing over occur because mitosis is asexual and reproduces itself by itself where meiosis is sexual and needs two parents instead of one.

rjkz [21]

The general trend for hormones after ovulation as an individual when it approaches menstruation is that hormone levels generally rise. BTW: Not to be TMI but i started mine and there is nothing to be scared of.
