Yes , because all elements are made of atoms and elements are the building blocks of the universe because everything is made of elements, therefore all matter is made up of atoms and compounds are made of elements, which are made up of atoms sooooo yes you can only make a mixture with elements and compounds

Equal masses of gaseous N2 and Ar are placed in separate flasks of equal volume at the same temperature. Tell whether each of th
Hoochie [10]

Answer:

c. The N2 molecules collide more frequently with the walls of the flask than do the Ar atoms.

Explanation:

The statements are:

a. There are more molecules of N2 present than atoms of Ar. FALSE. Because 1 mol of molecules of N2 = 28g and 1 mol of molecules of Ar = 40g. As there are equal MASSES, you will have more molecules of N2 than Ar molecules

b. The pressure is greater in the Ar flask. FALSE

Because pressure is directly proportional to amount of molecules. As molecules N2 > Molecules Ar. The pressure is greater in N2 flask

c. The N2 molecules collide more frequently with the walls of the flask than do the Ar atoms. TRUE

The collision probability of N2 is higher because there are more molecules presents

Hello everyone it's me the shy one. This is like my second post so here are the 4 questions.
irina [24]

Answer:

1.The effects of global warming in the Arctic, or climate change in the Arctic include rising air and water temperatures, loss of sea ice, and melting of the Greenland ice sheet with a related cold temperature anomaly, observed since the 1970s. 2. An engineer has devised a way to stop Arctic ice from melting by scattering millions of tiny glass beads to reflect sunlight away. Scientists have discovered that melting in Greenland and Antarctica is occurring much faster than they previously thought. 3. The cap of sea ice covering the Arctic Ocean started to shrink when it should have been growing. Temperatures at the North Pole soared more than 20 °C above normal at times. And polar bears prowling the shorelines of Hudson Bay had a record number of run-ins with people while waiting for the water to freeze over. In the span of a few months, all manner of strange things happened. 4. Human basic needs, such as food, water, health, and shelter, are affected by climate. Changes in climate may threaten these needs with increased temperatures, sea level rise, changes in precipitation, and more frequent or intense extreme events. Climate change will affect individuals and groups differently.

Jeff used an equal arm balance to weigh a 4.312 g sample of sodium chloride. Which of these measurements made by Jeff is the mos
Damm [24]

Option B: 4.3

There are following rules for rounding off numbers:

1. If the rounding digit has digit less than 5 (1,2,3 and 4) to its right, all the digits on right side of the rounding digit will drop out.

2. If the rounding digit has digit equal and greater than 5 (5,6,7,8 and 9) to its right, one is added to the rounding digit.

Jeff has to weigh 4.312 g sample of NaCl. To round off the underline number 4.312, check for the digit right to it. It has 1, which is less than 5 thus according to the Rule 1, all the digits on right side of the rounding digit will drop out and the number gets rounded off to 4.3.

Therefore, 4.3 is most accurate measurement by Jeff.
