Answer:

The deepest part of the dish lies at 3.52 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of  parabolic  equation is

X^2 - 4ay = 0

Where

a signifies the deepest part of the dish or the position of light source from the vortex V ( 0, 0)

At 0,0 co-ordinates the parabola opens up

Solving the above equation, we get

\frac{15}{2} ^2 = 4 * a * 4

On solving the above equation for a we get-

7.5^2 = 4 * 4 * a\\a = \frac{7.5^2}{16} \\a = 3.515\\

The deepest part of the dish lies at 3.52 ft

Answer:

CT= $950

Step-by-step explanation:

Dado la siguiente información:

Servicio= $300 primeros dos

Servicio adicional= $150

Descuento= $100

<u>Para calculate el costo total, tenemos que usar la siguiente formula:</u>

CT= 300x + 150y - 100

x= costo normal

y= costo promocional

CT= 300*2 + 150*3 - 100

CT= $950

Lana71 [14]

Answer:

$39.95

Step-by-step explanation:

Thus, a product that normally costs $799 with a 5 percent discount will cost you $759.05, and you saved $39.95. You can also calculate how much you save by simply moving the period in 5.00 percent two spaces to the left, and then multiply the result by $799 as follows: $799 x . 05 = $39.95 savings.

4(ax+3) - 3ax = 25 + 3a
FrozenT [24]
Let's simplify first:

4ax+12-3ax=25+3a

ax+12=25+3a

ax-3a=25-12

a(x-3)=13

That is how far you can take it, unless there were some additional information for this question.
