Answer:

A threshold level depolarization.

Explanation:

In a neuron, the action potential threshold is known as the point of depolarization where the neuron fires, when the neuron reaches a point, it will fire and if it does not reach the point of depolarization, it will not fire and it helps to transmit the information to another neuron.

A neuron transmits the information with the help of electric impulses which are sent through its axon. When a neuron in an inactive phase, more +ve charged ions recline outside the axon membrane. In the process of stimulation, the axon membrane admits more Na+ ions and providing the neuron more +ve charge.

Compare the manner in which grasshopper hears to the way a human hears
Arturiano [62]
Grasshoppers have no ears, instead they use an organ called the tympanum located in the first segment of their abdomen, whereas humans take in sound waves through the ear canal until they reach the eardrum. The eardrum picks up the vibrations and then transmits them to tiny bones in the middle of the ear, the bones pass the vibrations to the inner ear (which is filled with liquid) and the cochlea.

Two organisms, with the genotypes FFEe and FfEE, are mated. Assuming independent assortment of the F/f and E/e genes: 1) Provide
IgorC [24]

Answer:

FFEE, FfEE, FFEe, and FfEe

All the progeny show same 1/4 or 25% probability.

Explanation:

Given; parents are with genotype FFFe and FfEE

F/f and E/e are showing independent assortment,

1. Genotype of all possible offspring are;

gamete from parent FFEe are; FE and Fe ,

gamete from parent FfEE are; FE and fE.

So genotype of offspring are: FFEE, FfEE, FFEe, and FfEe

2. All the progeny show same 1/4 or 25% probability.
