Answer: $92. 86, or rounded to the neared dollar $93.00 a week.

Step-by-step explanation:

The first thing you must do when solving math word probelms is to read it carfully, then take out all the number and say what they all stand for:

1800 = the amount of money you need.

500 = the amount of money you have.

14 = how many weeks you have left.

Now that you have your numbers layed out we must for the equation:

So we know that you have 500 dollars right now:

500

And let’s say x is how many weeks you have left:

500 + 14x

We also know that the sum of those two numbers are equal to the amount of money that you need:

500 + 14x = 1800

Now that we have the equation, we must solve it:

500 + 14x = 1800

Subtract the 500( the money we have) with 1800( the money we need):

14x = 1300

Now we must divide 14 by 1300:

x = 92. 86

We now have you answer: you must make $92. 86 each week to be able to go to your camp.

Hope this helps! :)

dusya [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Remark

All you need do is find the radius and put it into the formula V = (4/3) pi r^3.

Givens

d = 12 yards

r = d/2

Solution

r = 12 yds/2 = 6 yds

V = 4/3 pi r^3

V = 4/3 * 3.14 * 6*6*6

V = 904.32

Answer 904.4 yd^3

If Benito is selecting samples of five values from the table, which row will result in the greatest mean? Population Data Row 1
Vilka [71]

Answer:

4th row will result in the greatest mean.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are asked to find the row with greatest mean from our given rows.

We will use formula \bar{x}=\frac{\Sigma x}{n}, where,

\bar{x}=\text{Mean},

\Sigma x=\text{Sum of all data values},

n=\text{Number of data points in sample}

Let us find mean of each row using above formula.

\text{Mean of row 1}=\frac{4+2+2+3+3}{5}

\text{Mean of row 1}=\frac{14}{5}

\text{Mean of row 1}=2.8

Therefore, mean of 1st row is 2.8.

\text{Mean of row 2}=\frac{3+3+4+3+2}{5}

\text{Mean of row 2}=\frac{15}{5}

\text{Mean of row 2}=3

Therefore, mean of 2nd row is 3.

\text{Mean of row 3}=\frac{2+4+3+4+3}{5}

\text{Mean of row 3}=\frac{16}{5}

\text{Mean of row 3}=3.2

Therefore, mean of 3rd row is 3.2.

\text{Mean of row 4}=\frac{3+4+4+7+3}{5}

\text{Mean of row 4}=\frac{21}{5}

\text{Mean of row 4}=4.2

Therefore, mean of 4th row is 4.2.

Since 4th row has the highest mean, therefore, 4th row will result in the greatest mean.
