1. Breathe. -take a break to breathe in three, three counts. Inhale, hold, exhale. This calms you down.

2. Identify- Identify the issue/ conflict causing you to feel this way.

3. Listen to music- this is more of a personal preference, but when i’m upset or angry, I like to listen to music to calm me down and sort of distract myself.

4. Accept your emotions- it’s unhealthy to keep all emotions inside, with no expression. Maybe talk to a close family member, or friend. Tell them about whats going on in your life.

Describe how you would communicate with patients that chose the physician assisted suicide option.
Verizon [17]

You would talk to them as human beings. These are people who have made the decision to end their lives due to deteriorating health, a difficult decision that no one should have to make, but they have. You need to be direct and open with them but also compassionate and understanding. You would not be patronizing or dehumanizing. You would talk to them face to face and be as personal and friendly as possible. You could also choose to talk to them about their strengths and praise them for making such a brave and difficult decision.

Corey steps on a tack that pierces the skin of his foot. In what order would the tack go through the layers of the skin? first t
marishachu [46]

Answer:

First the epidermis, then the dermis, and then the hypodermis

Explanation:

The skin has three layers, which are:

(1) The epidermis (the outer layer, which we see)

(2) Followed by the dermis, which is immediately below the epidermis.

(3) Lastly the hypodermis, the innermost layer.

When Corey steps on the tack, the tack will pierce through his foot from the outermost to the innermost layer i.e. in (1), (2) and (3) order.

Hence: (d) is correct.

A man has been a coal miner for 30 years. For the past 3 years, he has had progressively worsening dyspnea and has been diagnose
Yuri [45]

Answer:

His decreased residual volume and decreased lung compliance contribute to his altered ventilation.

Explanation:

Pneumoconioses are distinguished by reduced residual volume and impaired compliance with the lungs.

Pneumoconiosis involves asbestosis, silicosis, and the pneumoconiosis (CWP) of coal workers.

The most prevalent mineral dusts proven to cause pneumoconiosis in the workplace are asbestos, silica (rock and sand dust), and coal dust.

Cough and shortness of breath are by far the most common symptoms of pneumoconiosis. The threat is usually greater when people are exposed to high levels and/or long periods of time from mineral dusts.

One risk factor is the insufficient or inconsistent usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators (specially designed breathing masks), as avoiding inhalation of dusts would also avoid pneumoconiosis.
