she uses the same amount of fruit so Susan used 5 strawberries per cup ( 5*5 = 25 total strawberries) and 3 kiwi ( 3*5 = 15 total kiwis)

 25+15 = 40 total pieces of fruit.

Joanna made 4 cups with 8 strawberries each

8*4 =32

40-32 = 8 , so she can use 8 kiwis

8 kiwis / 4 cups = 2 kiwis per cup

If you put $500 in a bank with a 6% investment rate (which is rather high honestly) then next year you would have $530 in the bank, then 561.80 and so on. I feel like I misunderstood the question, but hopefully this helps, if at all.
