Answer:

Isolationism has been a recurrent theme in U.S. history. The term is most often applied to the political atmosphere in the U.S. in the 1930s. The policy or doctrine of isolating one's country from the affairs of other nations by declining to enter into alliances, foreign economic commitments, international agreements, etc., seeking to devote the entire efforts of one's country to its own advancement and remain at peace by avoiding foreign entanglements and responsibilities.

How did the French and Indian war lead to tensions between England and her 13 colonies ??????? Plz
Mrrafil [7]
French and Indian war (also known as the seven years war), led tensions between the 13 colonies and Britian. This is because in this war france lost New France to the British. When taxes began to rise in the colonies and Americans were starting to rebel, French were happy to help since it would be a sort of revenge since losing their colony in North America.

What happened at the First Battle of Bull Run that revealed how the average Northerner first viewed this war?
satela [25.4K]

No reinforcements were used by Union forces, thinking they weren't needed.

The North had thought, going into the Civil War, that victory would be relatively easy to achieve.  According to the History Channel, the outcome of the battle (a victory for the South) "sent northerners--who had expected a quick, decisive victory--reeling."

The First Battle of Bull Run is called the First Battle of Manassas by Southerners, after the city near where it was fought.  The battle took place in  Virginia in July of 1861.  The Confederate forces received reinforcements during the battle and that helped them in achieving the victory.
