Predators are the animals which capture and kill other animals for food. The animals which are killed are the prey.  Wolves and Foxes are predators. They are carnivores or secondary consumers, which kill bison and prairie dogs (prey) for food. Parties grasses are producers and prepare food. Bison and prairie dogs are herbivores eat grasses.
