The end result of the Mexican independence movement was that:

History

Answer:

Mexico got its independence

Explanation:

The Mexican independence movement was organized and confronted the Spanish exactly when the Spanish were the most vulnerable and significantly weakened. The Mexicans knew that in order to confront Spain, they needed to play wisely, be patient, and attack them when they are not at their best. Napoleon with his conquests in Europe did a very big service to the Mexican independence movement. Napoleon attacked Spain, so the focus of the Spanish was to fight in their homeland and to not be occupied by the French. This made their position in Mexico very weak, so the Mexican attacked them. The deteriorated and relatively small Spanish army in Mexico was not able to sustain the attacks, and the Mexicans won, declaring independence from the Spanish crown, and becoming a sovereign country in the New World.

a. the Caribs had allies among peoples of South America, who came to lend their support in the fight against the Spanish.

b. the fact that the Caribs were very fierce.

c. the region occupied by the Caribs were not in the area targeted for Spanish conquest and colonization.

And this is the correct answer:

b. the fact that the Caribs were very fierce.

Explanation:

The Caribs, as the name implies, inhabited most of the Caribbean Islands (the Caribbean Sea is in fact named after them) and also many areas of Venezuela, Colombia, Panama and Brazil.

The Caribs were particularly fierce, and represented a harsh opposition to the Spanish conquistadors. They often used poisoned arrows, which would not only inflict physical damage to the Spanish, but also lethal physiological damange from the wounds.

Another characteristic of the Caribs was the practice of cannibalism. In fact, the Spanish classified tribes as Caribs based on whether they engaged in that practice or not.
