For number 5: 180 -139 = x

For number 6: x = 41

For number 7: x + 18 = 90 (not 100% sure)

For number 8: x = 72

For number 9: you could write an equation about an acute angle and divide it into 2 parts the have one side 3 + 8 and have the other x. Then you could go from there. I’m sorry if you can’t figure out number 9. I tried to think of something.

The denominator of a fraction is three more than the numerator. When both are increased by 1 the fraction becomes 1/2. What is t
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

2/5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x = numerator

3 + x = denominator

\frac{x}{3+x}

the numerator and denominator are increased by 1 , the fraction becomes

\frac{x + 1}{4 + x} = \frac{1}{2}

cross multiply

2(x + 1 ) = 4 + x

2x + 2 = 4 + x

combine like terms

2x - x = 4 - 2

x = 2 = numerator

denominator = 2 + 3 = 5

2/5 fraction

san4es73 [151]

We are given,

\longrightarrow 0.2(10 - 5c) = 5c - 16

Solving the parenthesis

{ \longrightarrow 0.2 \times 10 - 0.2 \times 5c = 5c - 16 }

{ \longrightarrow 2 - 1c = 5c - 16 }

{ \longrightarrow 2  + 16 = 5c + 1c }

{ \longrightarrow  18  = 6c }

Dividing both sides by 6

{ \longrightarrow  3 = c }

Hence c = 3.
