She is likely exhibiting ethnocentrism. This is being defined as a way of showing judgement towards to other cultures based on their own standards that they are accustomed of or in their own culture. The American likely acted that way after seeing crickets to be eaten by locals because it is not normal or a tradition for their culture to eat bugs or even cover them with chocolates as they eat it.

In his efforts to lower his calorie intake, Shaun, when hungry, stuffs his mouth with celery rather than ice cream, eats premade
ivanzaharov [21]

Answer: Using competing responses.

Explanation: By using low calorie diets in place of foods he would have initially gone for, Shaun is using competing responses. Here, he learns to become aware of each instance of the habit behavior (awareness) and to use a competing response alternative on the occurrence of the habit behavior or on whatever precedes the habit behavior. As a technique in behavior therapy, use of competing response involves two stages that follows: first, we identify the habit occurrence/behaviour, including root causes and warning signs; and then, we create and practice, repeatedly an alternative response to the habit behavior.

In 1954, the government of Bolivia began taking land from Francisco Loza for public projects, including an international airport
Lynna [10]

Answer:

No.

Explanation:

U.S Federal Courts have limited jurisdiction. In other words, their jurisdiction is limited to the kind of cases listed in the U.S Constitution and particularly provided for by Congress. Therefore, they mostly hear cases in which the United States is a party, cases that involve violations of the U.S. Constitution or federal laws, cases between citizens of different states, as well as bankruptcy, copyright, patent, and maritime law cases. As a consequence of this, federal courts cannot exercise jurisdiction as regards matters related to the Bolivian government.

In 1916, Congress approved legislation for the creation of the National Park Service, a power expressly given in which clause?
Vlada [557]

Answer:

govern the federal capital and federal areas

Explanation:

The clause granted the Feds with the power to Prevent a 'derogation of values' from a certain area.

This is related to the creation of creation of the National Park Service (NPS) Because the BPS is established to  conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects on all government owned land

This basically prevent individuals and corporations from exploitation the resources in NPS territory without the permission from the government.  (hence protecting them from the derogation of value).
