Use the integer rule if the negative sign in bigger than the positive minus but the answers sign should be negative, if they switch sides it doesn’t matter you need to see what value it is and, if you want to minus with a negative you have to plus them and then add the negative sign, if you get something like this (-2- -10) you have to change it to (-2 + 10), it’s a math rule to negatives to gather represents addition.
