Answer:

Option D. 5,400 9,000

Explanation:

The computation for the number of units produced is shown below:

But before that first determined the following calculations

Particulars             Spoons                  Forks

Selling Price          $150.00               $88.00

Less:

Variable cost per unit    $80.00          $42.00

Contribution margin

per unit                         $70.00            $46.00

Machine hour per unit    5                               3

Contribution margin

per machine hour                $14.00            $15.33

As we can see that the contribution margin per machine hour of the fork is greater so it should be the first utilized

For 9,000 forks, total machine hours is

= 9,000 × 3

= 27,000

Now no of the spoons produced would be

= 27000 ÷ 5

= 5,400

Association Rule Analysis is the statistical technique typically used to conduct market basket analysis.
geniusboy [140]

Answer:

The correct answer is B) it eliminates all the unpopular items for the analysis to save time (and computing power).

Explanation:

Taking into account that the analysis of the association rule takes into account a group of products that are sold for being complementary or that are sold from the purchase of others without being complementary, in a retail business it will be relevant to consider the popularity of products to determine behavior or pattern. In this sense, the "a priori" algorithm determines a previous situation that is not taken into account to study similar behaviors between products.

Mortgage insurance rates vary with the perceived riskiness of the loan.Which of the following scenarios would result in a higher
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer: D) A "cash-out" refinancing loan

Explanation:

A "cash-out" refinancing loan refers to when a person replaces the mortgage that they have on a house with a newer, larger mortgage than the balance of the previous mortgage on the house.

The difference between this new mortgage and the old one can then be withdrawn in cash.

This would attract a higher mortgage insurance premium because the value of debt has now increased because as earlier mentioned, the new mortgage will be larger than the previous one so to cater for this, the insurance premiums will rise.

antoniya [11.8K]

Answer:

Asset allocation.

Explanation:

A basic decision that every investor must make is how to distribute his or her investable founds amongst the various asset classes available in the marketplace.

-Stocks

-Fixed income

-Cash equivalents

-Alternative assets

-Real estate

The strategic allocation is the proportion of wealth the investor decides to place in each of these asset classes. It is something also referred to as the investor´s long term normal allocation because it is presumed to be the baseline allocation that will remain in place until the investor´s life circumstances change appreciably.

Information on Wolfen Company's direct labor costs for the month of January follows: Actual direct labor rate $5.00 Standard dir
xeze [42]

Answer:

Standard Rate = $ 5.65

Explanation:

Wolfen Company

Actual direct labor rate $5.00

Standard direct labor hours allowed 11,000

Actual direct labor hours 10,000

Direct labor rate favorable $6,500

Using formula to find the unknown figure

Direct Labor Rate variance =   Actual Hours ( Standard Rate-Actual Rate)

$6,500= 10,000( Standard Rate-5)

$6,500/10,000 =  (Standard Rate-5)

0.65+ 5=Standard Rate

Standard Rate=5+0.65= $ 5.65

We can check by putting it in another formula

Direct Labor Rate variance=  (actual hours * standard rate)-(actual hours* actual rate)

$6,500=(10,000*Standard Rate)-( 10,000 *5.0)

$6,500= (10,000*5.65)-( 10,000 *5.0)

$6,500= (56,500)-( 50,000 )

$6,500=$6,500  (favorable) when standard price is higher than actual price
