Answer with explanation:

A salesperson can use probability to get an idea of his business as using probability he can estimate his sale of the next month as well, based on the present and previous months sales.

It can help him sort issues or errors he is facing in his business as he will get a complete idea of his business using probability.

Moreover, he can forecast future sales by using a technique which involves assigning percentages or weighting benchmarks in sales cycle, so that he can estimate the expected revenue generated.

For example:

A supermarket sales person can assign probabilities to benchmarks in sale cycle as providing needs analysis (25 % probability), adding new product (50%Probability) , Remove a product ( 75 % probability), closing sale (100% Probability) . If these probabilities are large, then forecast model can be objective.

So just like that by assigning probabilities to benchmarks, a sales person can forecast future sales

A professional baseball player signs a contract with a beginning salary of $3,000,000 for the first year and an annual increase
FrozenT [24]

Answer: the athlete's salary for year 7 of the contract is $3795957

Step-by-step explanation:

The player signs a contract with a beginning salary of $3,000,000 for the first year and an annual increase of 4%. This means that the amount he gets each year is 1.04 times of the previous year's amount. The rate at which his salary increases is in geometric progression. The nth term of a geometric progression is expressed as

Tn = ar^n-1

Where

Tn is the salary for the nth year

a is the salary for the first year

r is the rate at which the salary is increasing. So

a = 3,000,000

n = 7

r = 1.04

We want to determine T7. It becomes

T7 = 3000000 × 1.04^(7-1)

T7 = 3000000 × 1.04^6

Tn = $3795957

Tina is finding the quotient of. Is she correct? If not, what changes should be made?
Mice21 [21]

For this case, we must find the quotient of

(15x ^ 3 + 12x ^ 2-9x) divided by3x, to verify if Tina was correct.

So:

\frac {15x ^ 3 + 12x ^ 2-9x} {3x} =\\\frac {15x ^ 3} {3x} + \frac {12x ^ 2} {3x} - \frac {9x} {3x} =\\5x ^ 2 + 4x-3

So, Tina was wrong, she had to divide by 3x.

In the figure shown e is the midpoint of segment bd and ae = ec . choose the correct statement(s)
forsale [732]

Answer:

Triangle ABE and triangle CDE are congruent by using SAS theorem.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that e is the midpoint of BD and AE=EC.

BE\cong DE             (E is midpoint of BD)

Angle AEB and angle CED are vertical opposite angle and the vertical opposite angles are always same.

\angle AEB\cong \angle CED

AE=EC                 (Given)

So by using SAS theorem of congruent triangles.

\triangle ABE\cong \triangle CED

Therefore triangle ABE and triangle CDE are congruent by using SAS theorem.
