Answer:  Cones in eyes are ineffectual in dim light

Explanation:

Cones are photoreceptor cells of eye that provide different response towards varying wavelength of light .They can effectively function in bright light and provide color vision of things. They tend to become ineffective in dim light or darkness as photoreception becomes improper.

According to the question, Marlene's shirt is looking dark grey in color in darkness rather than red(actual color in brightness) because cones of eyes have become ineffective in darkness

Answer:Economists have had an enormous impact on trade policy, and they provide a strong rationale for free trade and for removal of trade barriers.  Although the objective of a trade agreement is to liberalize trade, the actual provisions are heavily shaped by domestic and international political realities.  The world has changed enormously from the time when David Ricardo proposed the law of comparative advantage, and in recent decades economists have modified their theories to account for trade in factors of production, such as capital and labor, the growth of supply chains that today dominate much of world trade, and the success of mercantilist countries in achieving rapid growth.

What effect of Reconstruction might have hurt the South’s economy?
Sedbober [7]

Answer: With the Independence of the Thirteen Colonies in 1776, the colonies became independent states, but united in a Federation, with republican and presidential political representation.

The Reconstruction had both positive and negative effects. If one side of African Americans are sending more experiments on the future economy of the south, because the economy was in a good way, the economy was growing in the South. On the other hand there are many protests against violations against this measure, many wanted to return to political control and that African Americans still have some service way.

I don't smoke because my mom would ground me, is an example of diverting the pressure.
lara [203]
I think that yes, it could be an example of diverting peer pressure.

If your peers are forcing you to smoke, but you don't want to, you could say this and hope that this would be a sufficient answer, it diverts your unwillingness to smoke to your parents, and so the conflict with a peer  is also diffused.
