kilograms of yellow potatoes bought is 8330 kg

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that James buys 245 kilograms of red potatoes

He buys yellow potatoes that weigh 34 as much as the red potatoes

To find: kilograms of yellow potatoes bought by James

Let "y" be the kilograms of yellow potatoes bought

Let "r" be the kilograms of red potatoes bought

kilograms of red potatoes bought = 245 kilograms

r = 245 kilograms

From given information,

Yellow potatoes weigh 34 as much as the red potatoes

here "as much as" means product or multiplication

Kilograms of yellow potatoes bought = 34 x kilograms of red potatoes bought

y = 34 \times 245\\\\y = 8330

Thus kilograms of yellow potatoes bought is 8330 kg

The answer cannot be expressed in mixed number since whole numbers has no fractional part

Christina collected information about the ages of the players on her softball team. The ages were 10, 12, 14, 13, 12, 11, 13, 12
BARSIC [14]

We are told that Christina collected information about the ages of the players on her softball team. The ages were 10, 12, 14, 13, 12, 11, 13, 12, 11, 12, 12, and 13. Christina wants to describe the players’ ages in an article for the school newspaper.

Since we know that range of a data is difference between the highest and lowest values of a data set. Range of our data set will be 4 (14-10). A group of different ages could have same range as Christina's data set. So range will be not a good option.

A measure of central tendencies will be better option to represent information about ages of softball team players. Mean will give the average age of softball players.

\text{Mean age of players}=\frac{10+11+11+12+12+12+12+12+13+13+13+14}{12}

\text{Mean age of players}=\frac{145}{12}=12.0833

Let us find median of data.

10,11,11,12,12,12,12,12,13,13,13,14

\text{Median age of softball players}=\frac{12+12}{2}

\text{Median age of softball players}=\frac{24}{2}=12

We can see that average of our data is 12 years.

Therefore, a measure of central tendency will be better choice to describe ages of softball players.

plz this is easy just answer Use &lt; or &gt; to compare the integers. –14 and –3 A. –14 &gt; –3 B. –14 &lt; –3
oee [108]
It would be B. because if you put the numbers on a number line, you notice that -14 is further down than -3 since -3 is closer to 0, so -14 is less than -3

Yes its math y=7x+6 that is one of the questions
8_murik_8 [283]

Answer:

See explanation below.

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation is:

y = 7x + 6

This is the equation of a line in slope intercept form. The general form, where m is the slope and b is the y intercept is:

y = mx + b

In this case, with the equation:

y = 7x + 6

m is 7 and the y intercept is 6.

The y intercept means the point when x = 0:

(0, 6) is the y intercept point on the graph.

Hope this Helps! Have an Awesome Day!! (-:
