Answer:

Patriots were supporters of independence and Loyalists were opponents of American independence. The patriots mainly included farmers, small traders, and blacksmiths who lived in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, as well as planters of Virginia and South Carolina.

The Loyalists ranks included major merchants of port cities - Boston, Charleston, New York, fur traders, and administration officials. The Loyalists did not accept the idea of rebellion and considered the resistance to the British authorities as treason. They understood that under the circumstances existed, the revolution was inevitable; however, they did not see in it pragmatic measures against the colonialists. They predicted chaos, the rule of crowd and tyranny.

These characteristics encourage more robust and stable economic growth.
In authoritarian systems, economic growth is more likely to be narrowly based on a small section of the population and corruption is likely to be higher.
Few countries with authoritarian systems of government have achieved high levels of growth in the long term.

krek1111 [17]

According to the information in the fragment, it can be inferred that the study was testing the facial feedback hypothesis (option A).

What is the facial fedback hypothesis?

The raised facial feedback hypothesis is a proposal by the American psychologist Silvan Tomkins in 1962. In it he argues that the activation of some facial muscles sends sensory information to the brain and an emotional experience is then induced in the subject.

According to the above, the frown and the smile are facial aspects that influence the receiver's perception to establish a conclusion about the cartoons. So the correct answer is option A.

Note: This question is incomplete because the options are missing. Here are the options:

Facial feedback hypothesis

Nonverbal hypothesis

Cognitive-mediational theory
