<span><em>HMS Dreadnought</em></span><span> was a </span>battleship<span> built for the </span>Royal Navy<span> that revolutionized naval power. Her entry into service in 1906 represented such an advance in naval technology that her name came to be associated with an entire generation of battleships, known commonly as the "</span>dreadnoughts." The generation of ships she made obsolete became known as "pre-dreadnoughts<span>", interestingly. Admiral </span>Sir John "Jacky" Fisher<span>, </span>First Sea Lord<span> of the </span>Board of Admiralty<span>, is credited as the father of </span>Dreadnought<span>. Shortly after he assumed office, he ordered design studies for a battleship armed solely with 12-inch (305 mm) guns and a speed of 21 </span>knots<span> (39 km/h; 24 mph). He convened a "Committee on Designs" to evaluate the alternative designs and to assist in the detailed design work. One ancillary benefit of the Committee was that it would shield him and the Admiralty from political charges since they had not consulted leading experts before designing such an extremely different battleship.</span>

What is an example of actor-observer bias?
devlian [24]

Answer:

For example, if someone is late and he is also apologizing for being late.

Explanation:

An actor-observer bias is a type of bias that explains how we interact with other people and make perceptions about them.

For example, if someone is late and he is also apologizing for being late, but you have assumed him to be a latecomer, and you might think he has no regard neither for you nor for your time.

People don't tend to succumb to this bias with their close friends and family members.
