The Ku Klux Klan, founded in the late 1860’s, experiences three major surges in popularity promoting ideals such as white supremacy, white nationalism, Nativism, anti-immigration, and anti-communism.

The first era of Ku Klux Klan experienced a rise in popularity in the late 1800’s with the intent of overthrowing Republican state governments in the South and ensuring that newly-freed southern African Americans did not vote. In 1871 their membership was oppressed by federal law enforcement (1871 Ku Klux Klan Act signed by President Grant to combat the KKK and other white supremacy groups).

The second Ku Klux Klan group flourished nationwide in the 1920’s on the platform of pro-prohibition and anti-Catholicism and anti-Jewish feelings. They experience a diminished population in the late 1920’s (around the time of the Great Depression; a time of mass American economic hardship).

The modern-day third wave of the Ku Klux Klan came about in the late 1950’s opposing the civil rights movement. Current membership, as of 2016, amounts to an estimated 3,000-6,000 active members.

Indicate the level of measurement. What is your social class: Upper, Middle, Working, or Lower?
lorasvet [3.4K]

Answer:

The biggest percent of society is in the working and in the middle class.

Explanation:

Lower class:

Lower social class is at the end of the social line. People living in social class are very poor, some of them are homeless or unemployed. Mostly, people in this class don’t have high school finished, and they are very badly treated in society. They don’t have health insurance, often they are hungry and on the street.

Working-class:

In this social class, people are out of the street, but they are poorly educated or unqualified. This leads to minimal salary for hard work.

The other side of this class is qualified workers, that are earning and living from their work, which can often be very dangerous.

Middle class:

As the name says, this social class is in the middle. They can be educated, rich or less educated and people closer to the working class.

In the middle class are put people who are also very hardworking and respected in society: directors, advocates, teachers, etc.

Upper class:

Unfortunately, only 1 to 3 percent of people are members of this class. There are recently rich people in this class but also those whose families were rich in the past. Of course, these people invest in the best, starting from education, to health insurance and hobbies.

Can someone please help
Korvikt [17]

someone who chooses to have a hourly/tip job over a salary job is choosing to work a specific time/times for specific pay plus the incentive of maybe getting extra money. a salaried position guarantees unlimited availability. the hourly choice might be made due to other obligations such as familial responsibilities, commitments to another job, or higher learbing. an hourly position might be best for them as their financial obligations vary from day to day.

I left typos and used weird word usage so that you can use this to make your own paragraph.
