Answer:

Explanation:

Manifest function refers to the intended function of social policies, processes, or actions that are consciously and deliberately designed to be beneficial in their effect on society. Meanwhile, a latent function is one that is not consciously intended, but that, nonetheless, has a beneficial effect on society. Contrasting with both manifest and latent functions are dysfunctions, a type of unintended outcome that is harmful in nature.

One could argue that since the beginning of the 1980s, the United States has become increasingly influenced by international eve

Yes. Just so you know, I'm only in 11th grade, so I might not be using the right vocab, but I'll try my best.
It can be justified the same way that it was during the Korean War. In order to repel communism in South Korea, the US troops were launched. This was a unilateral military action. In the same way that the US used the Monroe Doctrine to help aid and enforce their rule in other places, this is what happened during the Iraqi War. The US saw an unjust system of government reigning unfairly, so they intervened to overthrow it. The justification there was that they should have been able to choose their own government (in short, they should have a fair and free democracy).

True or false
enyata [817]

1.True

"Rival Land Claims. <em><u>England</u></em>, France, and the Netherlands became <u><em>early rivals of Spain</em></u> in colonizing the <u><em>North American</em></u> continent," as stated by https://www.loc.gov/teachers/classroommaterials/connections/parallel-histories-spain/history3.html, which means that england was in fact the first biggest rival in the North American continent.

2.False

"The Treaty of Paris of 1763 ended the French and Indian War/Seven Years' War between Great Britain and France, as well as their respective allies. In the terms of the treaty, <em><u>France gave up all its territories</u></em> in mainland North America, effectively ending any foreign military threat to the British colonies there," as stated by https://history.state.gov/milestones/1750-1775/treaty-of-paris, meaning <em><u>not just one</u></em><em> </em>colony, but all colonies.
