Ok let's start with question 1.

1. The equation is given. If she advices 360 people each week for 4 week she earns...

4(80+360(15)/100) = $536

2. In this problem instead of evaluating M we solve for n with M given.

140=80+15n/100

n=400 people

3. The new equation will still follow the same format.

M=65+21n/100

4. This will be the intersection point of the two lines. So when does...

80+15n/10=65+21n/100

We just have to solve for n.

-0.06n=-15

n=250 people

The binomial distribution is appropriate to use to find the probability of the elapsed time between successes.
antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer:

b. False

Step-by-step explanation:

The binomial distribution model allows us to compute the probability of successes when the process is repeated a specific number of times.

The binomial distribution model is given as;

P(X) = \frac{n_!}{x! (n-x)!} P^x (1-P)^{(n-x)}

n is the number of times the process is repeated,

x is the the number of successes,

p is the occurrence of the outcome of interest,

Thus, the probability of elapsed time is best determined with Exponential distribution.

Thus, the correct option is "b"

Nataly_w [17]
They should take 5 boxes.
If there is 8 boxes with a total of 56 boxes, you would do 56/8 to find how many sweaters are in each box. This comes out to be 7 sweaters per box. If you want 35 sweaters, you would do 35/7 to find how many 7 sweater boxes you need to reach 35.

The quotient of 5/31 divided by 15/23, reduced to the lowest fraction, is
Nat2105 [25]
A. 23/93
If you wish to divide by a fraction then this is the same as multiplying by that fraction after you swap the numerator and denominator of that fraction. So (5/31) / (15/23) is the same as (5/31) x (23/15). When multiplying fractions you multiply the numerators by each other, and place them as the numerator of the answer and then multiply the denominators and that becomes the denominator of your answer. In this case you now have (5x23)/(31x15). You wish to reduce the fraction so you have (5x23)/(31x5x3) if you factor them. A 5 may be removed from both the top and bottom leaving you (23)/(31x3), or 23/93
