Heyy. I'm not sure if you are meant to graph or solve it coz the question didn't say...

But if you re-arrange first then you can go from there... So like, if ur trying to solve x, then....

x +2/y = 2 +1
x = 3 - 2/y

But if y,
-2/y = x-3
And then ÷ by -2 to get y on its own.. pretty suree..

hope this helps :))

ikadub [295]

Answer:

61440

Step-by-step explanation:

15 x 4= 60

60 x 4= 240

240 x 4= 960

960 x 4= 3840

3840 x 4 = 15360

15360 x 4= 61440

a bicycle wheel has a diameter of 40 cm how many revolutions would a wheel make if the bike travels 1 km pi=3.14 (answer please
andriy [413]
Circumference of a circle = Diameter × pi
Circumference of a circle = 40 cm × 3.14
Circumference of the wheel = 125.6 cm

1 Km = 1000m
Circumference of the wheel × 1000m = The number of revolutions
125.6 × 1000m = 125600

The wheel would make 125600 revolutions if the bike travels 1 km.

Use graph to answer question
slamgirl [31]

Answer:

cos(θ) = 3/5

Step-by-step explanation:

We can think of this situation as a triangle rectangle (you can see it in the image below).

Here, we have a triangle rectangle with an angle θ, such that the adjacent cathetus to θ is 3 units long, and the cathetus opposite to θ is 4 units long.

Here we want to find cos(θ).

You should remember:

cos(θ) = (adjacent cathetus)/(hypotenuse)

We already know that the adjacent cathetus is equal to 3.

And for the hypotenuse, we can use the Pythagorean's theorem, which says that the sum of the squares of the cathetus is equal to the square of the hypotenuse, this is:

3^2 + 4^2 = H^2

We can solve this for H, to get:

H = √( 3^2 + 4^2) = √(9 + 16) = √25 = 5

The hypotenuse is 5 units long.

Then we have:

cos(θ) = (adjacent cathetus)/(hypotenuse)

cos(θ) = 3/5
